Beth Crowe is an English teacher at the Immigrant Welcome Center.  She is committed to helping New Mainers acquire vital language skills.  Before coming to IWC , Beth worked as the director of a non profit that matched employers with members of the community seeking work— nowhere is the need for English language acquisition more apparent than in the work place.

With a passion for teaching, storytelling and fiber arts Beth seeks to connect with her students on multiple levels. “In my classes we sing, we tell stories, try new foods and most importantly we laugh.”

Outside of IWC, Beth is a mom of six, a grandmother of six, and a year round beach bum.
