belviga mpolo, Women Lead Case Manager

Belviga Mpolo is originally from Congo Brazzaville but has proudly resided in Maine for over five years. While adapting to the American culture was initially challenging, she has come to appreciate the safety and security of this state. She is fluent in English, French, Lingala, and Kituba, and she has previously volunteered at General Assistance and a shelter for a year, where she helped those in need in her community. Belviga’s passion for aiding and educating those who require assistance understanding American culture and diversity led her to work at IWC. With an associate degree in Human Services, she plans to pursue a bachelor's degree in Social and Behavioral Sciences and, ultimately, become a Marriage and Family Therapist.
