Join us for September’s edition of New Mainers On Stage!

Every month, aligning with the First Friday art walk, the Immigrant Welcome Center showcases a vast array of musical talent among the New Mainer community. These events take place in different locations around Portland and are always a joyous occasion!

On September 1st, New Mainers On Stage will be taking place at Congress Square Park, (at the intersection of Congress St. & High St) at 6pm and is FREE to all.

This month will feature the New Moon Ensemble, live dance and drumming of Guinea, West Africa.

“As an ensemble family {they} represent and embrace diverse ethnicities, build community and inspire international study and collaboration through the healing power of music and dance”.
