The IWC Welcomes Two New Board Members

Please join us in welcoming two new members to the Greater Portland Immigrant Welcome Center Board of Directors: Cathy Lee and Quang Nguyen.

Cathy Lee is the founder and Managing Director of Lee International, an international consulting firm that provides advisory services to private and public-sector entities on climate change in Maine, other parts of the US and around the world. Lee is an attorney with 40 years of legal experience. She founded and actively supports the Justice for Women Lecture Series, a program of the University of Maine School of Law. She has served on many boards over the years and is currently a member of the board of directors of the Maine Business Immigration Coalition, Partners of the Americas program between Brazil and the US, the Maine Democracy Collaborative, United Nations Women’s Gender Constituency, University of Maine Mitchell Center for Sustainability Solutions, University of Maine School of Law Foundation, She is a founding member of the Women’s Law Section of the Maine State Bar Association and Advisor to the Women’s Law Association, University of Maine School of Law, Mentoring Program.

Quang Nguyen

Quang Nguyen is a licensed Financial Advisor at Win Financial Strategies and an entrepreneur based in Portland Maine. He came to the U.S when he was 18 barely speaking any English, Quang managed to study and excel his career in financial planning and also open a few successful businesses in Maine. Quang enjoys playing soccer with friends in his free time and traveling with his family.
